After losing what should have been my horse of a lifetime, I’m on the hunt for a new best friend. I know getting all of the below is near on impossible (or extortionate), but as many ticks in the boxes as possible!

Please note I don’t have a 5 figure budget so please take that into account before contacting:


- 15-16.2hh
- 8-12yo (open to younger if sane & sensible)
- Schoolmaster/confidence giving type whilst I find my feet again
- Must hack alone & in company
- Good to load, travel, trim etc
- Ideally have the capability to eventually do a nice lower level dressage test one day!
- I don‘t tend to jump nowadays but I have a trainer and friends who could jump him/her for variety if they need it until I fancy it!
- Open to breeds but nothing super hairy or heavy - prefer something sporty like an ISH/ID X
- Preferably will pass a 5* vetting for my own sanity

Absolute bonus if they come with any wardrobe!

I’m by no means a novice, but no doubt a little wobbly after a stretch of time off after an accident & losing my horse.

I don’t want a world beater this time. I’ve had a really unlucky 4 years and I just want something ready to go & give me back some confidence to get out, have fun and compete here and there. I’m on the most amazing yard with all year turnout (24/7 in summer), a trainer to help us with our partnership, miles of on and offsite hacking so he/she really would have the best home.

North west based but willing to travel up to 2/3 hours if viewing is required.

* Bay or chestnut only
* MUST hack alone, be safe and sensible and good with traffic/ farm machinery
* Gelding or mare (nothing mareish)
* No napping/ bucking/ rearing etc
* Must be good on the ground and to do in all ways (farrier, loading etc)
* Sports horse type preferred but would consider other breeds
* No thoroughbreds or cobs

My main requirement is a horse that is sane and sensible that I can get out and just enjoy without having to second think its behaviour. I’m not a novice and definitely don’t mind something forward going and fun but must have breaks / manners and be good to stand and wait for its turn during clinics etc. It must be good to hack alone and be safe in open spaces.

Must be able to jump and give me confidence whilst I get back into it. I’ll be doing a bit of everything but definitely SJ and XC, so something bold that loves its job and is the type to take you to a fence!

Dressage is something that I’m happy to work on as long as it’s responsive and works in an outline.

He/ she will be absolutely adored and will have a forever home on a private yard with 2 other horses. I also have access to excellent facilities within hacking distance!

No vices. Must be sound and open to vetting.

Trial period or LWVTB is a bonus.

Based in Cornwall but happy to travel within about 6 hours.

• 5* home

We are still searching for a proven, but safe BE 90 / 100 horse for competent and dedicated teenage girl to compete BE90/100 u18, PC Teams and to have some fun this season and beyond.

We would consider a horse with a proven unaffiliated 100 eventing record especially if over BE tracks. We are keen to find something aged 6-11years and as a bonus still eligible for Badminton Grassroots, but not essential. We do have experience with competition horses but please do declare any quirks!

Wish list:

• Gelding or mare 15.2 - compact 16hh (nothing bigger)
• Forward thinking but not dangerous, no bolters, rearers etc
• Proven BE 100 or unaffiliated 100 eventing record, especially clear at XC
• Good brain and easy to do, box, clip, shoe etc
• Excellent stable manners, sensible on the ground and good to hack out alone.
• Must have good feet and be open to 5 stage vetting with X-rays.

We can offer a 5* knowledgable and loving home with a varied life. Good support network and instruction. He/she will be kept at home with our other two horses. Based in Kent.
