Talented and trainable 14’2hh 4yo Warmblood mare

On behalf of her owner

Cherry was started professionally last year and is now ready to be produced on. Available through no fault of her own, her current owner feels she would be better suited to someone more competitive as she only wants to hack.

She has excellent breeding by Amour G and a Quattro sports horse mare. This lovely little mare has potential to excel in dressage, showjumping or eventing.

Cherry is a forward going and sensitive young horse who needs a competent rider to carry on her education. Riding very well for her age, she is very willing and really enjoys her schooling. She has three balanced, smooth paces with lots of rhythm and is nicely forward off the leg. She would really excel with someone who wants to do dressage. She does not buck or rear, very good trainable attitude. Not spooky.

She jumps with lots of scope on the lunge or loose, but has not done any jumping under saddle due to her owners main focus being dressage.

She has started hacking out and is proving to be confident, isn't phased by traffic, bikes etc.

Would suit a competent child or small adult, someone looking for a quality young horse to put their stamp on as she is totally unspoilt. Not suitable for a novice due to her being talented and forwards, she has a really bright future ahead of her.

Lovely to handle on the ground she is very polite and quiet to groom and tack up. Good to bath, load and travel. Currently barefoot. No vices, snaffle mouth.

Would not be suitable for showing due to a small bump on her knee, this is just cosmetic and does not affect her.

Up to date with vaccinations, worming, farrier, teeth etc.

WBS passport

Comes with her full wardrobe. Open to any vetting. Please ring for more info and videos.

14.2hh 9 year old Blue and White Irish cob x gelding

George is a fun little pony looking for his next family to go out and have enjoyment . Good in open spaces & good when left if others canter off, good on the beach. He has previously hunted and done unaffiliated SJ and ODE's, snaffle mouthed in all phases. Regularly at Somerford & Kelsall. Needs a confident rider as can be spooky, so no novices please. Hunting home preferred as this is where he excels.

No world beater but happy to do a bit of everything. He will live in or out. He is good to shoe, bath, catch, turnout and rug up. He will hack out alone and in company, will also lead from bigger hunt horses. Good to load and travel on any type of lorry and will stand all day. Occasionally used to nanny the bigger horses at shows. He does need sedation to clip.

Was ridden by a fourteen year old girl all last summer. For sale due to no rider available now.

Monarch jump cob saddle and bridle, and a small selection of rugs by separate negotiation.

Super smart and sweet boy to handle, good with children, dogs farm machinery etc.

Previously ride and drive, although for the last year he has been on loan to a friend as a companion to their tb, they have hacked him occasionally but would need bringing back in to work properly, so he would make a great little summer project for someone.

I've not got the time or room to have him back home.

Superstar pony for a new home

Super and versatile mare, 12.2.
Been in the same home last 4 years. Rising 7 years old.
Ridden by children and light adults.

Has happily done a range of activities including SJ, Xc clinics, games practice, beach rides, hacking on busy country lanes, dressage, all at unaffiliated level with various riders.

Hundreds of Videos that show this pony’s ability, nature and willingness.

She needs a little jockey who wants to go out and have fun. Always been ridden in a snaffle.

She will turn her hoof to any discipline.

She is easy to have at home including catch, clip, stable etc, shares a field with mares or geldings. Up to date with everything.

She is very much loved.
Home is very important to us and would love to stay in touch.
She is not used to nervous or novice riders.

Honest sale, happy to share previous health issues (treated successfully) and share vet records. She is very honest but still is a pony so can have a buck sometimes, rare if in regular work.
Please don’t contact if you want a rocking horse.

**WANTED show quality ridden gelding **

  • Sane and sensible, but willing

  • Sane and sensible, but willing
  • For active and varied life, not just showing
  • To be home produced

I am looking for a show quality ridden gelding due to the retirement of my pony. A coloured native or large breed M&M, most likely a Highland, up to height Fell or Connemara.

I am looking for a quality pony that is true to type, with good bone and movement. A pony that is sane and sensible, but willing. To have a varied life showing, hacking, dressage, trips to the forest etc.

Must enjoy fuss and attention. To be home produced so must be easy enough to do things by myself and sensibly hack alone and with company. A confidence giver, either established or a novice that has seen a bit of life. To just enjoy!

Maybe some one knows of a pony which might suit me? Perhaps a correct pony but that lacks the wow factor for top level showing, but that I can have fun with and love.

Super star Competition / PC / Hunting pony

  • This pony has effortlessly done everything asked of him...
  • PC camp rallies, shows, hunting
  • NSEA Champs, Hickstead 70cm

Lucky is incredibly calm at shows, he loves to jump and is super careful over fences.

He has serious speed if you want it. Really fun and has never stopped.

Loves xc, and has given his rider tonnes of confidence.

Has competed up to 80 but would be capable of more.

Previously

  • Mini SJ Champs 2022 placed 3rd out of 90 competitors
  • NSEA Champs 2022, 70cm placed 8th out of 150 competitors.

Lucky is a fantastic hunting pony, calm at the meet, good with hounds will go first or last and happy to do gates etc.

Always ridden in a snaffle.

Forward going but not silly or strong.

Would prefer a confident rider.

Very good stable manners, easy to do on the ground.

He doesn’t get attached to other ponies, hacks alone and in company. Good in all traffic and open spaces.

Good to catch, box, shoe, clip etc

Extremely sad sale, as now outgrown. Loving experienced home wanted for this brilliant pony.

Available separately bridle rugs and brand new fitted Black Country saddle

Phantom of the Opera

  • Traditional Gypsy Cob on a TGCA passport.
  • Would do well in the Show ring but a fantastic allrounder.
  • Loves to Jump and has been in the rosettes in SJ, WH and Arena eventing / Eventer Derby.
Ultimate all round Cob. Plenty of bone and Feather.

Phantom is the Ultimate Cob and competent child's pony. He is rising 7 but still young and learning and for that reason would be best suited to a knowledgeable home with an older sibling or small adult to continue his education.

He is NOT a first ridden. No nastiness or major vices but given the opportunity could try it on. Just not a plod along.

He loves to jump and has done all areas of this including SJ, Wh, Arena Eventing and XC. He excels in these and has been in the ribbons when competing in all of these events.

Great to hack in company, needs a slightly more confident rider on his own for the first few yards! Been to the beach, farm rides, always behaves impeccably. Used to farm traffic and animals.

Turns out with mares and geldings in groups and on his own. Currently stables at night in winter but has been out 24/7 in summer on restricted grazing. Doesn't change if left in or not ridden for a length of time.
Been to camps and doesn't change in behaviour.

Good to bath, clip, shoe etc. Can be slightly opinionated by stamping his front legs but always more than manageable. He is the ultimate character with his strange whinnies and little quirks.

Although good to handle he could try to take the micky if allowed.

Loads and travels no problem in trailer or wagon on own or in company and will stand happily all day.

For these reasons the ideal home would have an older sibling or small adult to hep continue his education and help with handling.

Home is of upmost importance and we would be more than happy for the potential purchaser to try him in a number of settings.

This is truly the hardest decision but my daughter is still growing and hes has so much to give to another family.

Any questions are more than welcome. We really do want the best for this amazing talented cob and any future homes will be vetted and references will be required.

Loads of videos available and references from instructors.

His price includes a full wardrobe of two saddles, bridle and bits, rugs and even trophy tails feather boots!

Based South Cumbria.

Miller is a TGCA registered mini cob, with impeccable manners. He has been carefully produced and is now ready to find his new home to further his career.

He hacks alone and in company, and is excellent in traffic and with dogs walking beside him. He long reins and whilst is schooling well he is still green due to his age. He has been over poles. He is excellent to catch, turns out with mares and geldings, he is barefoot and excellent with trimmer, to get clipped, has his teeth done with no sedation, stables or could live out, travels in both trailer and lorry and is settled at stay away shows.

His inhand career as a youngster has been outstanding, qualifying for CHAPS Championships and TOYS, and also 2nd at the Royal Highland Show. He is now ready to start his ridden showing career, with the potential to contest HOYS coloured junior classes. Equally he would make an ideal lead rein or family/pony club pony. He is very versatile.

I cannot express enough what a wee dude he is, not a bad bone in his body, and takes everything in his stride. He really needs to be met!

He is based in Stirlingshire, Scotland, where he is on sales livery at Neigh Bother.

Only a five star home is wanted for this special boy. If he was bigger he wouldn’t be going anywhere!

Tack, rugs and accessories included.

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

  • Fabulous to work around
  • Genuine soft nature
  • Happy Hacker alone or in company

This wonderful little mare would suit an experienced home, fabulous to work around with a genuine soft nature. A real gem. She has been with us for over 2 years. We have worked away with her slowly over the last 2 years and she is now a happy individual.

She has been out to local unaffiliated showing shows always in the ribbons as she is very pretty and flashy under saddle.

She has been in open spaces, hacking she will do all day, past the heaviest of traffic and not phased by others carrying on around her. She is a delight to own, very low maintenance, barefoot, lives on fresh air, kind nature can be handled by children.

She was bought to back and resell however it was clear when she arrived that she was not unbacked and that she had issues under saddle, mostly in the arena. This manifested in her running as soon as you got on board which is no longer an issue.

She is still a little speedy in the first few strides of the canter but has brakes and will settle with gentle hand and quiet rider. Someone could have so much fun on this little mare, she will give you her all and does not have a bad bone in her body. I just want her to get the person she deserves to love her on a one to one basis. we want her to continue to thrive as we have put in alot of work to get her to this stage.

Takes up the leg very well a real weight carrier as a chunky little monkey.

Please do not judge her that we have been open and honest about her past this is purely because I want her to find her perfect person. She is one in a million. Home is more important than price. Ready to go on and live her best life as someones best friend.

Very reluctant sale of a much beloved pony. Ollie is the type you can entrust to his rider whilst sitting back and enjoying the experience and it has been a privilege to have him in our family. Our daughter does everything with him herself and he’d stay another year if not hopelessly outgrown. We had a waiting list for him last year all of whom have now found other rides – his type rarely come on the open market.

Ollie is incredibly willing and versatile – truly excels at dressage but also very capable jumping having taken our daughter from 50 to 90cm classes. He also loves XC although this is not something we’ve concentrated on, and has been a member of the PC games team (will run to vault or stand for stirrup). He’s also great to hack out and can be ridden tackless.

We’d like to find a decent little jockey for him who’ll ride him sympathetically. He will step up or down and build confidence - he’d be suited to a child who has already had a second pony in order to get the most out of him.

Well established lateral work including leg yield, rein back, simple changes, turns on the forehand and haunches and working on correct flying changes! Ollie would probably enjoy working equitation. Scores mid 70%’s prelim to decent 60s in recent elementary test.

Wins and qualifications are too numerous to list but include NSEA Hickstead and Addington champs in SJ, JWS and dressage, placing 3rd in inter county prelim final and 2nd in champs novice plate, along with winning the ride-off at PC grassroots final and qualifying for Barrier Spring Festival Novice dressage.

In previous homes he also excelled at WH, did extremely well RC dressage champs and has been in NSEA teams for various disciplines at championships many times and been on JWS winning team.

We are in touch with all three of Ollies previous owners and his previous jockeys have all touched base and share their equine journeys via social media.

He is excellent to handle, groom, shoe, load, bath, clip, etc.

Looking for a 5* home preferably on a private yard for this fabulous little pony where he will live a happy and varied life.

A full wardrobe will be included for Ollies next adventure.

Rici is a well bred 4 year old quality native, black sliver dapple skewbald gelding. He stands currently at just under 145cm. He is by dual graded mare, Cerrighedd Simply Magic and CHAPS graded stallion, San Cler Cardinal.

Rici is 37.5% Welsh x Traditional half brother Cerrighedd More Magic. Many of his relatives are out doing well under saddle in showing and BD. I’m sure he will excel in any chosen career.

Owned by me since a foal, he has been shown with some fab results including taking two championships at TOYS, South Downs cob final winner, reserve champion at Dorset County and too many champions and reserves to list.

Rici was professionally backed in 2023 going well out hacking and lightly schooling. Turned away for the winter, Rici is now back in work, hacking well and progressing well with school work.

He is good for farrier, bath, clip, load etc and has regularly travelled to shows since he was a foal.

Vice and blemish free with no health issues.

Genuine sale though no fault of his own.

Tack and full Wardrobe available to go with him.

Ridden videos available I’m unable to load them on this site.
