Smart 2011 grey gelding standing at 15.2hh, Blue has been with his owners for 18months, looking after a very nervous teenage girl, his owner before had him since he was 3, he’s a well loved boy and absolutely loves to please.

He offers three rhythmical paces on the flat, works nicely and would do a nice test, he’s a compact type, nice stamp and he takes up your leg.

In his previous home he did all riding club activities and hunted, he’s a real fun horse and is up for anything.

He enjoys jumping, isn’t bothered by fillers, cross country fences etc, makes a lovely shape over a fence and enjoys the job, he will jump from trot or canter and go off any stride, he’s bold to a fence and knows his job.

Hacking wise Blue is superb, he is a happy hackers dream! He will walk out alone and in company quite happily and come home on the buckle, doesn’t look at traffic and isn’t bothered by the big scary stuff.

This chap is an ultimate Allrounder, he’s up for anything, so fun but equally so safe and will be a super horse for someone, he’s a real loving friendly boy and great to have around.

* Griffin is a purebred gelding with recorded breeding, his Sire is Maam Hero, his dam is by Carraig Galen Miller x Clonberne Boy. Griffin is one of the rare pony’s without Abbeyleix Owen and the other common stallions in his direct bloodline. He is a real traditional pony hard to find.
* Griffin has been ridden here by novice students, he is good to hack out, alone or in company, he is good in traffic.

Smokey is a star under saddle but also on the ground. He is super sweet and loving, he comes right up to you in the field, he is easy to shoe, box, catch and ride.

He is good to hack out, alone or in company.

Smokey is a son of our own class 1 stallion Crusheen Silver Duke.

Silver Duke was purchased by us as a two year old, he was All-Ireland Champion of Champions at Roundstone in 2017 as a foal.

He has been broken and trained by a young girl and has an amazing temperament. He is an extremely smart and kind stallion with perfect manners. He shows a fantastic jump up to 1.20m.

Silver Duke is by the amazing Silver Shadow x Monaghanstown Fionn.

Silver Shadow the International Show Jumping Connemara Stallion Cloonisle Cashel x Poetic Moonlight. One of the very top performing Connemara ponies on the European circuit, Shadow has excelled at the highest levels of competition in Ireland,

Sweden, and Italy.This great stallion that has done the Connemara pony breed some unbelievable achievements, a European team pony in 2010, competing in Moorsele in Belgium and Aachen in Germany before being sold to the famous Kolgjini family in Sweden.

Monaghanstown Fionn’s offspring is competing up to 3* eventing.
