We have for sale our beloved 12 year old purebred Arabian mare Mulan. She measures in at roughly 15hh. But will double check and get the measurement tape out.

Mulan has impeccable manners and is a great horse allround. I have done a lot of flat work with Mulan in the school and she is starting to understand the concept of it all. Works lovely off the leg and is a lovely relaxed mare to ride. Not Mare-ish in the slightest. Mulan will happily do trot and canter poles and can pop a small cross pole but we wouldn’t really class her as a jumper, she’s more of a flat horse as she struggles with anything bigger than a cross pole. She’s not really a hacker as she spooks at cars and Lorries. She doesn’t like tractors so would have to be a nice quiet yard. She would suit a showing, dressage or endurance home. Looking for a confident teenager or adult. Not a novice ride as she can have her moments sometimes due to her being an Arabian. She went to myerscough for a bit and the students rode her, she was great. She’s done a dressage test at myerscough too and came 2nd. She’s used to going on beach trips and loves the beach and walking in the sea. She is a mare with a big heart.

Upto date with vaccinations, farrier, teeth, chiropractor.

Good for travelling, farrier, vets, physio, chiropractor, lunge etc…

Only selling due to her retiring from racing and currently has no job. She is just in her stable and she is capable of more.

She will come with all her tack and rugs.

Extremely sad sale due to no fault of his own, simply don’t have the time to give him the attention that he deserves. Ali is a sassy boy and has been adored for years. He is a safe ride. Has competed up to 75 cms but has jumped 1m at home. Ali can buck out of excitement but nothing nasty he just loves his job. Ali can be a stubborn boy when hacking alone with myself but with my sister he hacks beautifully as he needs a more experienced rider than myself. Will hack beautifully in company, amazing with traffic, pigs, tractors, lorries etc as we are on a busy farm. He is amazing to lunge and work with in the round pen as he is very responsive to speech.

Ali is a beautiful boy and he knows it! He is the perfect all rounder. He love’s attention and fuss.great with the farrier and dentist as long as they are kind. Good to load, sometimes can be a bit silly for the first 5 minutes but okay overall. With new things, Ali needs someone who is patient and soft handed. He is good to be be turned out and in,e will come to you when you call him even if he’s at the other side of the field. He loves his friends in his herd and causes no issues. He is extremely loved by everyone on the yard.

Recently we changed his bridle to a non leather bridle as he didn’t get on with leather bridles as it gives him strain behind his ears. Since this change he has so much better putting his bridle on.

Ali can be head shy at first but once he gets to know you, you can do anything with him. Sometimes he can be cheeky when putting his bridle on but I have worked on this with him for years and will show all the tricks get around this at the viewing.

Ali is a special one of a kind pony and will not just go to anyone and will not go to anyone unseen. Ali will only go to a soft kind rider and someone who is willing to put the time and effort into him.

He has been lightly worked during the winter but this has not made any difference to his work ethic only difference is he a chunky monkey.

As I said previously, I simply don’t have the time anymore as I work 6 days a week and I now feel he deserves better.

He is up to date with the farrier, dentist and vaccinations.
