TEXEL AND SIMPSON BATTLE
FOR FIRST THROUGH FOURTH
LOS ANGELES,
CA – November 19, 2000 – Ray Texel of Beverly Hills captured the $40,000 AGA
Calabasas Motorcars Grand Prix aboard, Fleur.
Texel bested a field of 34 starters turning in the only double clear
rounds. Nicole Shahinian Simpson posed
the only threat with 2 time faults, ending in second place aboard her new mount
La Gometa. Ray Texel took third place
as well, aboard Pershing and Nicole Simpson took fourth aboard El Campeon’s
Cirka Z.
This Grand
Prix is the final event on the AGA tour for 2000, the 2000-2001 season will
resume on February 11, 2001 with the
$75,000 Kilkenny Internationale Cup in Wellington, FL.
