Thank you Equestrians!!! Rock Creek Recreational Area Eldorado National Forest Georgetown, California Results of OHV Grants hearings on January 25 Thanks to all the letters and the awesome attendance of equestrians, 30+ representing over 16 organizations, the grants for the multi-use trails in the Rock Creek Area were approved subject to CEQA approval. With this funding, the trail maintenance will be completed, keeping the trails open for all users. Along with funding for the trail maintenance & reroutes, funding will also be available for the much needed signing and new maps for the area. Upon completion of these projects, the trails surrounding the Dru Barner Campground will provide some of the best riding in California. Due to the overwhelming attendance of equestrians, the organizations they represented and the strong statements of support for trails, the United States Forest Service among others, definitely became aware that we have become a strong, united force who will fight to keep our trails open. Again, thank you for your support,
